Welcome!
On these pages you will find jewelry and the occasional other adornment. You'll see silver and gold, art glass, gemstones, pearls, shells, and whatever else strikes me as interesting. I use techniques including weaving, stringing, metal smithing, macrame, embroidery and sewing to allow the gems, beads and components to be displayed the way they want to be.
This is Spiral Galaxy. It combines bead embroidery, bead weaving, and stringing to give the proper home to the dichroic glass center bead.
There can be beauty in a very humble stone or bead, when it is carefully combined with others and displayed with an interesting and well-executed technique. When it all comes together, my heart sings. I hope you enjoy your travels through my site, and that you will come back to visit often. |
